Meet & Greet
Design Brief We initiate introductions, establish rapport, and gain insight into the Clients’ requirements and scope of works for their cabinetry design.
Design Brief
Client brief to be discussed thoroughly with consultant. Plans to be given to consultant, or site to be measured at an additional fee.
Design Implementation
Research and design brief implementation.
Interim Presentation
Before finalisation of the design, the designer will have an informal meeting with the Client to ensure the correct design intent is being implemented and the Client is happy with the direction of the design.
Revision Finalisation
We work on revising the concept and design as per the Clients’ feedback.
Final Presentation
Final designs to be presented to the Client along with 3D renders and proposed material mood board. Client to study designs and give designer feedback, preferably within 48 hours
These are the final changes before quoting.
Official Quote
A comprehensive quote to be given to the Client. If further design changes are to be implemented, a deposit needs to be paid as per the original quote.
Deposit Payment
Once a deposit is paid, an unlimited number of changes are allowed. A deposit does not mean that manufacturing will commence. A deposit secures the sales price for a
maximum of 3 Months on cabinetry components only.
Revision Finalisation
Design is finalised and signed off by the Client.
Sign Off
Quote, Contract and Terms and Conditions are signed by the Client.
Implementation
Site Measurements
Site to be measured by designer to ensure that all sizes are correct according to plan. For site to be measured, the following criteria need to be met: 1) Walls to be plastered 2) Ceilings to be installed 3) Finished floor level to be known or a meter line to be marked
Drawing Revision
Site changes are made to design and production book is put together. Plans are redrawn to
reflect final site measurements.
Production Preparation
Production book will be discussed with the factory, sent to the Optimisers and subsequently, orders are placed with various suppliers.
Manufacturing Process
Carcass manufacturing to commence while waiting for hardware and wood. Once all wood and hardware has been received manufacturing can be completed. Doors can be added to carcasses and carcasses with visible panels assembled and clamped.
Site Delivery
Client to pay a progress payment before delivery of goods to the site.
Installation Commencement
The time it takes to install is related to both the complexity of the job & site readiness. On average, a kitchen takes 2-3 weeks, and a full house takes 6-12 weeks.
Installation Complete
Client to inspect work and issue a snag list within 7 days of installation.
Snag Completion
Snags will be attended to. If any orders are required to be placed, a lead time for the items will be communicated directly with the Client.
Final Sign-off
Client to inspect snags and sign off the snag list and installation.
Full Payment
The final balance will be due upon completion and satisfaction of your cabinetry installation.
